  8. Since Stuart’s workshops, I have started a new volunteering job. I am now confident using a computer, (as opposed to a laptop or iPad,) with some confidence, knowing that I can’t break it. I’m sure that before the workshops I would have walked away after my first morning, feeling totally overwhelmed by that huge screen, with so many icons and incomprehensible pieces of information. However, I am now spending a very happy morning, helping a good cause, and my husband has back some ‘me time’. Thanks Stuart

  10. I have just completed the workshop that Stuart has ran over the last few weeks. They were very enjoyable and informative. The sessions were interactive as they were held on zoom. This gave us the opportunity to ask any questions if not sure about any subject. Any question was listened too and explained at a level that we could all understand.
    Stuart made everyone feel confident enough to participate in any discussion’s that we had during the workshops. Another benefit of these workshops, is if you can’t make one of them, they are kept on recordings on Sussex Smart, to watch at any time, or watch again,which I have been doing, because there is so much information to take in, in one go!!
    Stuart is also very welling to help were needed on any personal,technical problems.

    I have found him very polite and patient. He is quietly spoken, and through demonstrations and clear explanations makes sure one understands what he is saying and doing. In group sessions, he is remarkably good and methodical with a number of people.

    He is not bigheaded, and although he is extremely well qualified, he is always prepared to research the inevitable problems encountered.


  12. My computer was running slowly & I had accumulated a number of related problems which I did not have the expertise to resolve. Stuart Pembery, of Sussex Smarts, swiftly ran through a diagnostic procedure, explaining his actions throughout. He outlined various solutions &, when I decided on those I preferred, he proceeded to act on them for me. I am most grateful. He has wide experience which enabled him to give balanced advice &, on 2 occasions, suggested simple solutions where I had thought I might need to up-grade & spend money. He was courteous, pitched his explanations at a level I could understand & had the sensitivity to understand my particular needs. I am delighted to recommend his work.

  13. I just want to say a big thank you to Sussex Smarts for helping me with my laptop. There was a problem with it which I couldn’t fix and I was going to have to send it off for repair which can take up to 60 days. I had work due in and needed my laptop so contacted Sussex Smarts to see if they could help. After about 20 minutes my laptop was up and running again. Thank you so much! 🙂
